The joyousness of a New Year on its heels, has quitely faded away as we grew up. May be a bit a macabre for this moment but may be its a reminder of the dwindling flame of life.
Here’s a few things that past year taught me.
It’s ok to give up on your dreams. I haven’t given up yet, but I know it’s ok to do that.
No one knows what they are doing. They do, and things seem to work out. The point being, you need to do stuff to know. You don’t necessarily need to know things to do.
Narcissists live to win. More importantly you don’t have to be a narcissist to win, and also you can lose and still live with yourself.
You are how much you earn in this capitalist society. Some will like you to rise and some will watch you fall. You can climb only with the ladders you build.
Unlimited growth is cancer. Live for your needs. Not your greed.
Capitalist society is fragile and bound to fall like the Tower of Babel, at any given moment. Only true wealth is your own farmland. That’s why everyone dreams of farming.
There are two kinds of people based on principles of evolution. Ones that want to preserve and others who are ready to adapt. Preservation is selfish, conservative, and is scared of any changes or anything different to themselves – essentially fascist. Adapting is empathetical, liberal, and welcoming of change. Both are two sides of the same coin. You are just on one side by pure luck (probability).
